Professor Jodie Conduit Adelaide University

Professor Jodie Conduit is the Pro Vice Chancellor of Business and Law at Adelaide University, where she leads research into how companies can harness collective customer engagement to create transformation at both organisational and customer levels for meaningful social impact. Her expertise spans examining how consumer communities shape markets and drive behavioural transformation, with particular focus on consumer mindsets, circular economy practices, and resource waste reduction. As a Board member of both Green Industries SA and KESAB Environmental Solutions, Professor Conduit brings practical experience in guiding strategic sustainability initiatives alongside her academic research, which has included major projects addressing food waste reduction in aged care and hospital settings. Her research, published in leading international journals, demonstrates how engagement theory can be applied to create lasting institutional and behavioural change in environmental contexts. A Fellow of the Australia and New Zealand Marketing Academy (ANZMAC), Professor Conduit is committed to leveraging marketing principles and engagement strategies to build sustainable futures, working with organisations to develop authentic stakeholder relationships that embed new practices supporting both business objectives and environmental stewardship.
