Laurie Kozlovic Woolworths Group
Laurie is currently managing Director Sustainable Impact at Woolworths Group. The sustainable impact team is responsible for delivering group sustainability outcomes across Australia and New Zealand that help drive a better tomorrow for the group.
Key area of focus include,
– Transitioning the business to 100% green energy by 2025
– Implementing smart energy and renewable energy infrastructure to decrease energy consumption
– Deploying over 20mw of solar across the group and growing this number each year
– Driving scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions reduction
– Managing waste and commodity resources across the group
– Leading the push to implement infrastructure to deliver zero food waste to landfill by 2025
– Driving the circular economy through effective re use activities and helping develop materials using recycled content
Prior to joining the Woolworths Group, Laurie spent over 15 years in the environmental services field with Veolia (covering water, waste management and energy) including senior leadership roles in Operations, Corporate Development and Innovation.
